Orang Percaya Pasti Diselamatkan

Hari ini adalah upacara pembakaran mayat Seku. Tidak bisa menghadiri upacara ini karena aku berada di korea. Shocked mendengar berita kematiannya satu hari setelah natal.
Waktu latihan membawakan lagu “HadiratMu membawa kesembuhan” untuk ibadah hari minggu kemarin sangat berat rasanya, selalu teringat Seku.
Sedih rasanya. Seku sudah menderita sakit tumor ganas sejak aku masih di bangku kuliah. Keadaannya sempat membaik tapi kambuh lagi.
Terakhir lihat seku akhir tahun 2005, saat pernikahan putri pertamanya.
Tidak terlalu dekat sama seku, selama 3 tahun pernah tinggal berseberangan dengan rumahnya waktu masih duduk di bangku Sekolah Dasar, hidup jauh dari papa dan mama.
Aku diingatkan, kalau hidup di dunia ini hanya sementara saja dan sebagai orang yang menerima Yesus sebagai Tuhan sudah diselamatkan.
Dan aku percaya, seku menerima hidup kekal itu.
setelah berpikir itu, barulah aku bisa menyanyikan lagu itu.

Karena begitu besar kasih Allah akan dunia ini, sehingga Ia telah mengaruniakan Anak-Nya yang tunggal, supaya setiap orang yang percaya kepada-Nya tidak binasa, melainkan beroleh hidup yang kekal

Singing competition at 2008 Foreign High-Tech Professional technology workshop

Just came back from Olympic Park. Doing nothing in Office. Really feel Bete with boss.
I couldn’t directly go back to apartment, have to stay in office after workshop…agrrrrr….
Anyway, i can forgive him. At least he had allowed me to join that workshop, A Foreign High-Tech Professional Technology Workshop.
Enjoyed the Buffet, hotel room, Arirang performance, learning rhythm of Drum and got the korean Drum as souvenier.
I did something that i hadn’t ever done yet, That was joining singing competition. yeah, it’s my first time to sing alone in front of a lot of people and to join singing competition.

Hehehe, just wanna check my mentality. Hmm….I was nervous and shocked because i was the first to sing. Really felt nervous. Some people said that I sang was really good.
Finally i didn’t win the competition just got KRW10.000 as participant. At least there was a guy from Entertainment Information show asked for my business card and asked me someday to sing at noraebang.
Hmm…I was happy coz it means my singing was good. But I don’t want to sing if he calls me…no way. I am an Engineer, not interested to entertainment matter. I need people entertaint me…weeekkkkks….id

客家 和 钟氏家谱 (hakka and Zhong’s family tree)

Setelah bersibuk-sibuk seminggu, hari ini sama sekali tidak mengerjakan apa-apa. Merasa bosan, akhirnya buka-buka situs selama jam kerja. Teringat lagu Jimmy Lim yang berjudul “礼物” (baca Li u) yang dinyanyikan oleh seorang teman di noraebang. kangen sama lagu itu , iseng-iseng cari Mp3 nya di google. Malah muncul situs yang cerita tentang sejarah nenek moyang khususnya suku Hakka (traditional Chinese: 客家話; simplified Chinese: 客家话; pinyin: Kèjiāhuà; Hakka: Hak-kâ-fa). Rasa ingin tahu yang kuat tentang asal usul nenek moyang membuatku lupa waktu dan bangga menjadi suku hakka atau chinese khek. baca deh di situs ini http://www.bookrags.com/wiki/Hakka. Bangga salah satunya karena Sun Yat Sen, presiden pertama china setelah zaman dinasty Qing adalah orang hakka. Dan masih banyak lagi.

Hal ini membuatku ingin berkunjung ke tanah leluhur khususnya Meixian. Jadi ingin menemani papa dan mama ke Meixian dan menambahkan daftar nama -nama keluarga di (鍾 / 钟, pinyin = zhong, dalam bahasa khek "cung" dan ada juga chung) family tree. Bisa gak ya?

Aku ini keturunan ke-22 dari keluarga Zhong (hihihi…mungkin keturunan ke 22 yang lain sudah ada yang punya cucu dan bahkan cicit)…ya maklumlah orang dulu istrinya banyak. Grand grand father punya istri muda.

Seorang teman dari china membantuku menemukan situs keluarga Zhong’s family tree yakni http://www.zgzhongshi.com/#首页. disitu di jelaskan sejarah keluarga zhong. ya cerita tentang marga zhong dan hakka dari situs yang kutemukan lumayan sama dengan yang diceritakan papa.

October's Long Weekend

Last weekend, it’s long weekend for October. Friday night, together church friends, joining Youth praise and worship service. We sang ”God will make away / 나의 가는 길 ” and “Allah sumber kuatku/주는 나에 힘이요”. This service reminded me to GBI youth at Yogyakarta when i was an university student, i was the one of the Youth personnels at church.

Then tomorrow morning, I and Christa went to DMZ (Demilitarized zone )-JSA trip, a joint security area between South Korea and North Korea. It’s really nice experience coz i could see North Korea and could cross the separation line of NK and SK. It meant I had ever been North Korea….horeee…^^ Enter to this area reminded me of Korean-Japan Drama ” Friend ” starring by Won Bin and Kyoko Fukada” (i like it’s OST song, One). We went to inside of tunnel which connect to NK….yahh…i really enjoyed it. It’s cheap trip, very cheap trip, i only paid KRW 15.000/ USD 15,- with VIP service (normal fee is KRW 110.000,-/USD 110). Thanks to Jun who has offered me this trip and very good fee..;P


After this trip, i was so tired but i still had another plan, watching international fireworks festival from Seoul Tower together my friends. There were a lot of people at Seoul tower and so crowded. Anyway, It’s okay, i could see the fireworks. It’s really wonderful. This year was my second time to watch international fireworks but from different view. After all, i went home and directly jumped down on my bed and slept.

Second Autumn

Wuuiihh..who knows, It has been one year staying in Korea. It’s already 4 seasons pass. Now, The colours is going to change and the weather is getting colder. Ahh…can’t wait to see the colours change at mountains and parks. Yeah, I do like this incoming season, Autumn. Really like having a walk under the path of tree while the leaves is falling down due to blown by the wind, and walk among fallen leaves on the street.

If there is no winter and summer…^^” or If my home country has 4 seasons too, i’ll not hesitate to leave this country…hahaha. But life must go on, just hoping God keep my way to His precious plan.

Anyway, Thank you Jesus, I can feel Autumn again. ID

Caught the Second Wedding Flower

“Wow!! You caught the flower!!..you are the next line…..” (at my friend wedding party in korea)

Everyone said that after I caught wedding flower from a beautiful bride today. And I just asked to myself “is it true? Will I meet my Mr. Right and get marry soon?”. Then I awaked after I remembered to my first wedding flower last year. I got my first one in Jakarta, Indonesia. After that I was curious who is my Mr. Right. I was surprised because I met some new guys after that and no one is my Mr. Right. And I still keep my status as single woman right now.

Anyway, I want to tell you that I do not believe about this superstition. id

Mechanical Team Workshop 2008

Pyonggung Resort, Taean, korea
Travel dates: 19 - 20 Sept 2008Senang banget pergi workshop bareng teman-teman se-departemen (mechanical team). walaupun banyak ga ngerti bahasa mereka (teman-teman korea), apa ocehan mereka, apa yg ditertawakan, tetap enjoy aja. mereka tertawa, aku juga tertawa…mereka teriak, aku juga teriak…ya setidaknya jukum jukum arayo…huehehehe…
bersama-sama lompat karung, pindahin air, lomba ponco dan cock fighting di bawah sinar matahari yg sangat terik…(hitam deh nih kulit ^^”).
habis itu ngikutin seminar visi misi perusahaan yg sama sekali mula mula/ga ngerti kecuali kata pepatah dari pino si temen philipino. Akhirnya sampai deh ke acara panggung sambilan dinner. Puji Tuhan, nih acara beda bgt dari tahun-tahun sebelumnya…so teman-teman korea tidak intensive minum. Acara bagus, lucu dan menyenangkan. Yang bikin malunya neh harus bantuin si chong won & prends lagi show. pasang deh muka tebal jadi model mereka, duduk di panggung dan terima 4 kuntum mawar dari mereka sementara mereka nyanyi stand by me-stand by me..”..cape deh. Habis satu hari sebelum workshop si chongwon datang minta tolong bantu mereka show dg alasan “kamu kan foreigner”.

Tidur nyenyak, pagi-pagi buta udah ke tepi laut, mau lihat sunset. eh kaga bisa, soalnya berawan alias McD - makin cape deh.
Breakfast dan lanjut ke LG solar energy, hihihi biar tambah pintar :P.

Ammonia team's food ==> Urine Smell

Few days ago, I had dinner together my team. We had "samhap" or triple in one food. my korean friend called it trinity :).

Samhap consist of fermented fish (skate fish), kimchi, and pork.Taste is so-so but the smell is terrible. smell likes ammonia (NH3). It reminds me of urine…yaaaks…The strong smell is came from the fermented fish…

They ordered this menu because we are ammonia team. oh..how poor I am… i am still young Samhap is popular food in korea and usually is eaten by old people.

Anyway, it’s good for my experience ^.^ id

Black & White Day

Hmm….white day. i just hear about this last week when my dept. head invited me to have lunch. Today i’ve got a lot of yummy and sweet chocolates from my overseas friends. They made me surprise. Of course that was my first time to receive chocolates on white day.

White day is kind of event when a man will give chocolate or candy to a woman. It is celebrated in Taiwan, Korea & Japan. it’s kind of event that have same meaning with valentine day. In Korea, Japan & Taiwan, a woman will give chocolates to a man on valentine day.

Hmm…both events are not fair for single. but in Korea, single people have their own day. It’s called BLACK DAY which the single man/woman will eat "cha cang myon" (Noodle with black consomme). it is celebrated on April 14 when single man/woman will come to a restaurant to have cha cang myon.
